The Daily Illini is an independent student newspaper at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

As a writer, I focused on producing well-researched, engaging articles for the Arts and Culture section (also known as “buzz”). During my time at The Daily Illini, I published 21 pieces covering music, film, literature, culture, and local events. These projects brought me out of my comfort zone and deepened my interest in storytelling and cultural reporting.
